Raw Clay Extraction & Spray-Drying

From quarry floor to atomised powder in 4 hours.

Kaolin, feldspar, and quartz arrive by the tonne from certified quarries in Sardinia and Portugal. Wet-milled slurry passes through spray-drying towers at 280 °C, producing a homogeneous powder with moisture content held to ±0.2%. Consistent particle size at this stage determines everything downstream — colour uniformity, density, and fired flatness.

Digital Inkjet Glazing

1,200 DPI colour fidelity. Zero screen contact.

Twelve Durst Gamma inkjet lines apply glaze in up to eight colour passes without a single physical contact with the tile surface. Designs are rendered from calibrated digital masters — no two production runs drift from the reference file by more than ΔE 0.8. For large hospitality projects requiring 4,000+ m² of matched field tile, this is the only process that eliminates shade variation at scale.

1,220 °C Tunnel Kiln & Rectification

The permanent transformation. Then the precision cut.

Tiles travel 110 metres through a roller-hearth tunnel kiln over 55 minutes, reaching 1,220 °C at the peak zone. Temperature profile is monitored at 42 points along the kiln length — any deviation beyond ±3 °C triggers an automatic adjustment. Post-firing, every tile passes through diamond-blade rectification lines that cut edges to ±0.1 mm, producing calibrated pieces that install with 1.5mm joints without lippage.

"We specified Kiln's 900×1800 slab for the entire ground-floor arrival sequence — 3,200 m² across two wings. Not a single shade deviation across the color lot. That's the only reason we can spec at that scale without a contingency."

"The technical data sheet for every SKU is complete before the sample even ships. Break strength, water absorption, slip ratings, thermal expansion coefficient — it's all there. That's what a hospital procurement committee needs to approve a spec in one meeting."
